We stopped by Carmine's Cafe on Saturday afternoon and ordered two Italian sandwiches. The Italian sandwiches were delicious with the perfect amount of meat and cheese. The bread was good and complimented the sandwich nicely. We'll definitely come back again. Heads up that they are cash only. They have an ATM onsite if you don't have cash.
Just discovered that Carmines does breakfast sandwiches and coffee as well! They serve New England coffee. I got the iced coffee which is a bit on the bitter side which I enjoy more than the water you get at Dunkin. So nice to have a local alternative for coffee in the neighborhood.
We were only in Boston for a weekend in December and got in late. We looked for a local place to get some pizza and found this neighborhood cafe. We bought a pizza and a calzone. The calzone was huge and so was the pizza. Both were excellent and authentic. What made it even better was the service. The staff was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. If we go back to the area, this will be one of the first places we'll visit.
My partner and I ordered one large pizza (half pepperoni & half cheese) - TASTE: 4/5 - nothing crazy special. Both the pepperoni and cheese were good and hit the spot! TEXTURE: 5/5 - enjoyed the thin dough and fluffy crust PRICE: 4/5 - the one large pizza came out to $20 total. Note: cash only! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - filled us up and still had a couple leftover slices for the next day SERVICE: 4/5 - we called ahead to place our order and waited about 5min when we got there ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - Carmine's is in a homey, residential area with some outdoor covered seating PARKING: 3/5 - didn't see any obvious street parking spots, so we hazard-parked next to Carmine's on Huckins Ave

You can always count on Carmine for a great sandwich or the best pizza in town. All served efficiently and with a smile. A hidden gem out on Squantum. Perfect to pick up for a picnic or a game day pizza.

Great small local restaurant - the only one in Squantum, unless you want to go to Marina Bay and pay for overpriced food. The meatballs are fantastic and the pizza has a great chewy crust. The owner is super nice. Cash only but they have an ATM.
Great pizza! Happy to find it. Little neighborhood place with an ordering window during the pandemic. Limited menu but if you want pizza, pasta or sandwiches the crowd hints that you've arrived. Nice people too
Best subs in Quincy ! Always very fresh tasting Decent pizza, and Italian dishes from scratch One of the best ham n' cheese sandwiches Anywhere ! The eggplant parm is excellent And the meatballs and the lasagna specials Are fantastic ! Outstanding food.
